Gearwire.com Posts ESP Power Cord AES Demonstration

 
 

For our exhibit at the 123rd AES Convention, we decided that instead of talking about the sound quality improvements of our cords, we would perform a demonstration so attendees could experience it for themselves. Well, the good folks from Gearwire.com just happened to visit our demonstration and record it.

 
 

The following audio/video clips provide insight about 'why'and 'how' we developed specific features of our patented multi-conductor power cordage geometry. Also, you will actually be able to hear the sonic improvements ESP power cords make on studio monitors and instrument amplifiers.

2007 CES - DAY 3

Then it was over to the beautiful business suites of the Venetian Hotel for the audiophile equipment companies I’d never visited before, because they were far away at the Alexis Park Hotel at previous CES shows...

A highlight was Essential Sound Products Inc. of Rochester, started in 1995 by music lover Michael Griffin, a 25-year General Motors employee. Griffin took a buyout from GM in 2005 to devote full time to the business, which is now ready for mass production of its high-end power supply cords that minimize distortion in audio equipment.
